ISIS REPELS BIG ATTACK BY US-BACKED FORCES IN DEIR EZZOR

BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:10 P.M.) – The Islamic State (ISIS) managed to repel a big attack that was launched by the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) near the key town of Hajin in southeast Deir Ezzor.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), the Islamic State killed more than ten fighters from the Syrian Democratic Forces during the short battle near Hajin today.

The report claimed that the Syrian Democratic Forces failed to capture any territory from the Islamic State, despite the US Coalition’s heavy airstrikes on the terrorist group’s positions in the Euphrates River Valley.

The Syrian Democratic Forces have been attempting to break into Hajin for the past month; however, each time they get close to cracking the Islamic State’s lines, they are forced to withdraw due to heavy casualties.
